Baseball Recap: Lenox Comes Up Short

Lenox lost against Mount Ayr back in June, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell 12-8 to the Raiders. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Raiders since on Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Lenox and nudges their season record down to 17-9. As for Mount Ayr, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Lenox didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 23-1 victory against Essex on the 5th. As for Mount Ayr, they have also already played their next game, a 13-0 win against Sidney on the 5th.
