Ironwood Ridge extended their postseason success on Monday against ALA - Gilbert North. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Nighthawks, who have now won ten matches in a row.

While Ironwood Ridge might've won, it sure wasn't easy: ALA - Gilbert North scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Kallie George paced Ironwood Ridge's offense, picking up 19 kills. George got some help from Lydia Litkenhus and her 33 assists. Litkenhus was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Ironwood Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 24-15. As for ALA - Gilbert North, the loss snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 23-17 record.

Coming up, Ironwood Ridge will face off against ALA - Queen Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. ALA - Gilbert North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
