Lakeside proved they can win big on Friday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Glynn Academy Terrors 1-0. The victory was familiar territory for Lakeside, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Lakeside's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Glynn Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lakeside will venture away from home to challenge Greenbrier at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lakeside will need to watch out since Greenbrier have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches. As for Glynn Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hilton Head Island at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th.
