It was fun while it lasted, but Gilbert's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Tuesday. They took a 79-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pella Dutch. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Gilbert fell to 5-1. As for Pella, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Gilbert Tigers challenge the Carlisle Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pella, they will venture away from home to take on Newton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
