Basketball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Blair

Blair had won five straight games and Timmy Anderson did his part to make it six on Monday. The Blair Vikings walked away with a 64-51 win over the Temple City Rams thanks in part to Anderson, who made all 7 shots he took for 24 points along with six assists and five rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more points the last 27 times he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Patterson, who posted eight points. That's the most points he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Temple City still got an impressive performance from Mason Collins, who earned 12 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Brayden Kwan was another key player, putting up ten points.

Blair is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Temple City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Blair beat Temple City by a score of 63-47 on Wednesday.
