Basketball Game Preview: Southwestern Randolph Cougars vs. West Davidson Dragons

The Southwestern Randolph Cougars will square off against the West Davidson Dragons at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Southwestern Randolph is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight games dating back to last season on Tuesday. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-39 heartbreaker at the hands of Wheatmore.

Meanwhile, West Davidson didn't have quite enough to beat East Rowan on Tuesday and fell 60-57.

West Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Southwestern Randolph, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
