North Daviess waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Clay City Eels 45-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2025.

Clay City lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Taylor Rhienhart, who posted seven points and ten boards. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Olivia Shidler, who had seven points and three blocks.

North Daviess' win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Clay City, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, North Daviess will be playing at home against White River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Wolverines have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Clay City, they will head out on the road to take on Dugger Union at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
