Volleyball Recap: Pilgrim Takes a Loss

Pilgrim lost against Lincoln back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Patriots came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-13.

Lincoln can attribute much of their success to Donis Ariel, who had 13 digs and one assist. Those 13 digs gave Ariel a new career-high. Cory Robinson also deserves some recognition as he had his first blocks of the season.

Pilgrim's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Pilgrim has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Woonsocket on the 7th. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against South Kingstown on the 7th.
