Softball Recap: Mishawaka Marian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Triton on Monday, Mishawaka Marian came back down to earth. The Knights came up short against the New Prairie Cougars on Tuesday, falling 15-0. The Knights have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Mishawaka Marian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for New Prairie, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

While Mishawaka Marian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
