Softball Game Preview: Brandon Eagles vs. Freedom Patriots

Brandon is 0-4 against Freedom since March of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Brandon has given up an average of 14.6 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Brandon fell victim to Riverview and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Sharks, falling 13-0. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Meanwhile, Freedom came into Monday's match having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Spoto by a score of 12-9 on Monday.

Brandon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Freedom, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-15.
