            Volleyball Recap: South Charleston Black Eagles vs. George Washington Patriots        
        
		
        
        
            South Charleston was the  2-0 winner over George Washington when they last played one another  back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Black Eagles fell  2-0 to the Patriots on Thursday.
 While South Charleston was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15,  25-22.
 Despite the  loss, South Charleston saw an underclassman step up: freshman  Bella Anderson  had ten  digs.
 Among those leading the charge was   Natali Tomblin, who  had ten  digs and one  assist.
South Charleston's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for George Washington, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8-2 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. South Charleston is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Hurricane  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, George Washington will  take on  rival Nicholas County  at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
