Soccer Game Preview: Research Triangle vs. NCSSM: Durham + How To Watch

The Research Triangle Raptors will venture away from home to square off against the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Research Triangle will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Research Triangle proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against East Wake Academy, sneaking past 2-1. Christopher Hernandez had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Research Triangle.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in September, NCSSM: Durham was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. They and Franklin Academy finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw.

Research Triangle's win bumped their record up to 13-5-3. With that draw, NCSSM: Durham's record moves to 16-1-2.

Research Triangle might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from NCSSM: Durham when the teams last played back in September. Can the Raptors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
