Volleyball Recap: Bryant Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bryant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Charging Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Bryant sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-22, 11-25, 16-14.

Taylor Lease paced Bryant's offense, picking up 12 kills. Lease got some help from Livi Smith and her 19 assists. Brooklyn Fischer controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Bryant's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17-3. As for North Little Rock, their record is now 6-15-1.

Bryant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Conway on the 21st. As for North Little Rock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Paragould on the 20th.
