Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by seven runs or more this season.

KC Pieper was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Houston Ellinger, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger will square off against Fort Wayne North Side at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, they will face off against New Haven at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bruins surely won't give up without a fight.
