Soccer Recap: Fredericksburg Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Fredericksburg Billies didn't have quite enough to beat the Cole Cougars and fell 3-2. The Billies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fredericksburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Cole, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Fredericksburg will square off against Floresville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cole, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Poteet at 7:00 p.m. Cole's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
