Pine-Richland waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Bishop Watterson Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Maeve Boyle and Ashley Moreland certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Boyle had seven assists and three aces, while Moreland had nine digs and two assists.

Pine-Richland's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Bishop Watterson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Pine-Richland will face off against North Hills at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Watterson, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Gilmour Academy on the 11th.
