It was a good run, but Spring Garden unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Dora Bulldogs by a score of 10-8. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Spring Garden's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Dora, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Garden will challenge Pleasant Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dora, they will host Lynn at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Lynn's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Dora's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
