Softball Recap: Crest Chargers vs. Enka Jets
Crest extended their postseason success on Friday against Enka. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Jets 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted since March 28th.
Aidan Ledbetter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Madison Crocker was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run.
