Soccer Recap: Pigeon Forge Falls to Carter in First Game of Season

Pigeon Forge had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Carter Green Hornets on Thursday, falling 5-1. Pigeon Forge were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Carter apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pigeon Forge will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Gatlinburg-Pittman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Pigeon Forge their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Carter, they will square off against William Blount at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
