Soccer Game Preview: North Smithfield vs. Middletown + Official Tickets

The North Smithfield Northmen will venture away from home to face off against the Middletown Islanders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

North Smithfield fell victim to Prout and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 4-0 to the Crusaders.

Meanwhile, Middletown faced North Providence in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Islanders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

North Smithfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-2. As for Middletown, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3-2.

North Smithfield might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Middletown in their previous matchup last Monday. Can the Northmen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
