Baseball Recap: Jefferson-Morgan Takes a Loss

Jefferson-Morgan fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Carmichaels on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mighty Mikes by a score of 4-3. The Rockets just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Deakyn DeHoet made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

Jefferson-Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Carmichaels, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1-1.

While Jefferson-Morgan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
