Baseball Game Preview: Headland Rams vs. Rehobeth Rebels

The Headland Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Rehobeth Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Headland sitting on three straight wins and Rehobeth on five.

On Saturday, Headland was able to grind out a solid victory over Zion Chapel, taking the game 6-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rehobeth). Everything went their way against Houston Academy on Saturday as Rehobeth made off with an 11-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won three matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Headland pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Rehobeth, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Headland came up short against Rehobeth when the teams last played on Tuesday, falling 6-1. Can Headland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
