Baseball Game Preview: McKinney Lions vs. Plano West Wolves

For the second straight game, McKinney will face off against Plano West. The Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. McKinney will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

Last Tuesday, McKinney didn't have quite enough to beat Plano West and fell 5-4.

McKinney got a good showing from Anderson McLain, who tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. McLain has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, McKinney saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandt Hodges, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

McKinney now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Plano West, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1.
