Goldsboro has gone 7-0 against Beddingfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Goldsboro Cougars will challenge the Beddingfield Bruins at 7:15 p.m.

Last Saturday, Goldsboro didn't have quite enough to beat Northeastern and fell 63-61. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 275th, while the Eagles are ranked 99th).

Meanwhile, Beddingfield had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Nash Central by a score of 53-44 on Wednesday.

Beddingfield's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Goldsboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Goldsboro strolled past Beddingfield when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 74-55. The rematch might be a little tougher for Goldsboro since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
