Basketball Recap: Brick Township Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Red Bank Regional, Brick Township was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Toms River East Raiders 52-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Green Dragons have posted since January 12th.

The victory got Brick Township back to even at 1-1. As for Toms River East, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brick Township will venture away from home to square off against Central Regional at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Toms River East, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Donovan Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
