Lambert came into Friday's game looking for another win against West Forsyth, but Andrew Davis wouldn't allow it. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Longhorns with a sharp 44-24 victory on Friday for which the team can thank Davis, who rushed for 173 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards.

Despite the defeat, Lambert had strong showings from Ethan Daughtery, who threw for 243 yards and one touchdown, and Matis Saint Jean, who picked up 36 receiving yards and one score.

West Forsyth's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lambert, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
