Amani Giannopoulos posted a new career-low in walks on Wednesday. She was dialed in as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She was dominant the last time she took on Chicago Academy back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Giannopoulos has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Giannopoulos and Lake View will look to defend their home field on Monday against Rickover Naval at 4:30 p.m. Giannopoulos had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game last Tuesday 14-7.
