Volleyball Game Preview: Mahopac Wolf Pac vs. Arlington Admirals

Mahopac is 1-9 against Arlington since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wolf Pac will be playing in front of their home fans against the Admirals at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Mahopac had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Peekskill on Monday. The Wolf Pac put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 3-0 win.

Mahopac walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-16, 25-16.

Arlington not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 27th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Suffern. The win continues a trend for the Admirals in their matchups with the Mounties: they've now won four in a row.

While Arlington won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-15, 25-17.

Arlington's victory bumped their record up to 11-8-3. As for Mahopac, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
