Baseball Recap: Bald Knob Find Success

Bald Knob lost to Cave City back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Bulldogs skirted past the Cavemen 4-2. The game was the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Cavemen on their field since March 4, 2016.

Keegan Smith was excellent, earning one run and four stolen bases. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Jaylen Jones was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Bald Knob now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Cave City, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 14-9.

Coming up, Bald Knob will face off against Pangburn at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cave City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
