Baseball Recap: LEE Comes Up Short

LEE blew Somerset out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Somerset got their revenge. The Volunteers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. The Volunteers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

CT Berlenga made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

LEE now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Somerset, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coincidentally, LEE and Somerset will both be playing Holy Cross the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Volunteers will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
