Recap: Antioch Sequoits vs. Wilmot Panthers
On Wednesday, Antioch beat Wilmot 54-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Antioch.
Heidi Rathmann continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 29 points. The match was her 15th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Webb, who scored seven points.
Antioch's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Wilmot, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antioch is on the road again on Friday and play against Wauconda at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Wilmot won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Elkhorn at 5:30 p.m. on January 11th. The timing is sure in Elkhorn's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Wilmot has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
