Baseball Recap: Greater Lawrence Tech Sets Scoring Season-High Against Everett

Greater Lawrence Tech scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 11-6 to the Everett Crimson Tide. The Reggies haven't had much luck with the Crimson Tide recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Greater Lawrence Tech got a good showing from Anderson Garcia, who tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Kewdy Ceballos made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI. Richy Dominguez was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Greater Lawrence Tech now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Everett, the victory was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greater Lawrence Tech will venture away from home to take on Lynn Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Everett, they will head out to square off against Chelsea at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
