Basketball Recap: Springer Comes Up Short

Springer lost against Cimarron on February 11th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Springer Red Devils lost 83-57 to the Cimarron Rams.

Springer's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Cimarron, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Springer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cimarron, they will square off against Roy/Mosquero at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Roy/Mosquero is on a nine-game streak of home wins, Cimarron a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
