Basketball Recap: Northwest Guilford Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Northwest Guilford waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 41-29 win over the Ragsdale Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Tigers back in January, they had to take a 35-30 defeat.

Despite the loss, Ragsdale saw an underclassman step up: freshman Aaliya Boddie posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Ja'Mya Boddie, who had six points and four steals.

Northwest Guilford pushed their record up to 15-8 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points over those games. As for Ragsdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.
