Baseball Game Preview: Upper Dauphin Area Trojans vs. Halifax Wildcats

For the first time this season, Upper Dauphin Area will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will take on the Halifax Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Upper Dauphin Area fell victim to Tulpehocken and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 11-0 to Tulpehocken. Upper Dauphin Area has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Halifax and Schuylkill Haven, and Halifax kept the tradition alive. Halifax walked away with an 8-4 win over Schuylkill Haven on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Josh Zahurak, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Brandon Schell, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Upper Dauphin Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Halifax, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
