A Season-Best Effort from Tyson Wurzer Leads University Prep over Central Valley
Tyson Wurzer produced his most outstanding game to date while leading University Prep to the win on Friday. Wurzer rushed for 234 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 154 or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Lassen was led to victory by Dowan Stephens, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Stephens rushed for 186 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 50 yards.
For the year, Stephens has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 129.5 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 14.5 rushing yards per game.

Anderson was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Alias Raby did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Raby as he forced a fumble and made 12 total tackles.
