Basketball Recap: Denmark Comes Up Short

Denmark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 30th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Lambert Longhorns, falling 79-43. While losing is never fun, Denmark can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 514th, while Lambert is ranked 21st).

Denmark's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Lambert, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2.

Denmark will challenge Seckinger at 6:25 p.m. on Monday. Denmark is facing Seckinger at the right time seeing as Seckinger is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lambert, they and North Atlanta will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Lambert's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
