Volleyball Recap: Chandler Takes a Loss

Chandler lost against Red Mountain back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolves came up short against the Mountain Lions, falling 3-0. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Chandler had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.

Jaelyn Sasik paced Chandler's offense, picking up eight kills. Sasik got some help from Brooke Mehlberg and her 22 assists.

Chandler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Red Mountain, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-13.

Coming up, Chandler will look to defend their home court on Monday against Basha at 6:00 p.m. Red Mountain has already played their next contest (against Mountain View), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
