Eastwood won the last time they faced Coronado and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eastwood Troopers claimed a resounding 59-9 victory over the Coronado Thunderbirds. The Troopers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 25 points or more this season.

Eastwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Abigail Ortega, who went 7 for 13 on her way to 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Danika Sifuentes, who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Eastwood was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coronado only posted three assists.

Eastwood's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-7. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.5 points per game. As for Coronado, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-21.

Eastwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-51 victory against Montwood on the 31st. Coronado has also already played their next contest, a 53-18 loss against Socorro on the 31st.
