Soccer Recap: Southside Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Southside has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Southside couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of ANTHONEY BEDOLLA, who's now up to 11 this season.

Southside's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Christ Church Episcopal, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Southside is taking a road trip to take on Carolina Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Christ Church Episcopal, they will be playing at home against Southside Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Christ Church Episcopal is facing Southside Christian at the right time seeing as Southside Christian is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
