Baseball Recap: West Perry Comes Up Short

West Perry was the 7-4 winner over Waynesboro when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell just short of the Indians by a score of 7-6 on Monday.

West Perry's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3. As for Waynesboro, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

West Perry wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against Greencastle-Antrim on the 15th. As for Waynesboro, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-3 defeat against James Buchanan on the 15th.
