Volleyball Recap: Madeline Miller and Kate Wilson Secure Win for Lutheran

Lutheran hadn't done well against Lewis-Palmer recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lions came out on top against the Rangers by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Rangers last Monday, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

The win didn't come easy: Lewis-Palmer scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 16-25, 26-24, 26-24.

Leading Lutheran to victory were Kate Wilson and Madeline Miller. Wilson had ten digs and six aces, while Miller had 12 digs and three assists. Those six aces gave Wilson a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Lewis-Palmer lost, don't look at Olivia Ivall. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and two aces.

The victory was the third in a row for Lutheran, bringing their record up to 8-3. As for Lewis-Palmer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
