Basketball Recap: Monroe Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Monroe won the last time they faced Valdosta and things went their way on Saturday too. The Golden Tornadoes secured a 57-51 W over the Wildcats.

Tristan Terry had an outrageously good game as he shot 67% from the field on his way to 26 points. What's more, he posted two steals, the most he's had since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Burns, who scored 11 points in addition to four steals and four blocks.

Monroe's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Monroe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 80-37 victory against Terrell County on the 18th. As for Valdosta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-47 defeat against Wayne County on the 18th.
