Football Recap: Belle Vernon Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Belle Vernon lost against McKeesport back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Leopards took a 20-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Curtis Wade threw for 92 yards on ten of 16 attempts. Anthony Dicenzo was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards.

Belle Vernon now has a losing record of 1-2. As for McKeesport, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belle Vernon will face off against South Fayette at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McKeesport, they will take on Upper St. Clair at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 5.8 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
