Basketball Game Preview: Billings Senior Broncs vs. Bozeman Hawks

The Billings Senior Broncs will head out on the road to face off against the Bozeman Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Billings Senior has given up an average of 50.9 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Billings Senior came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Billings West, falling 66-45. The defeat continues a trend for the Broncs in their meetings with the Golden Bears: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Bozeman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Gallatin and fell 76-40. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Raptors are ranked 19th).

Bozeman's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Billings Senior, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.

Billings Senior came up short against Bozeman in their previous matchup back in February, falling 53-42. Can Billings Senior avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
