Soccer Recap: Sun Valley Magnet Has No Trouble Against Discovery

After failing to score in their last match, Sun Valley Magnet made sure to put some goals up on the board against Discovery on Monday. They blew past the Discovery Warriors 6-1. That looming 6-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Pioneers yet this season.

Sun Valley Magnet has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-0-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four contests. As for Discovery, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Sun Valley Magnet will head out to take on Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Discovery, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Magnolia Science Academy Reseda on January 6, 2025.
