Volleyball Recap: Fennimore Takes Down Cashton in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Fennimore had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cashton Eagles on Thursday. This was payback for the Golden Eagles, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 15-25, 25-17.

Brooklyn Ritchie paced Fennimore's offense, picking up 17 kills. Ritchie got some help from Brylie Zink and her 32 assists. Addsion Meckley controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Fennimore has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-11 record this season. As for Cashton, they moved to 21-13 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Coming up, Fennimore will challenge Blair-Taylor on Saturday. Cashton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
