There's no place like home for Lapwai, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They breezed by the Potlatch Loggers to the tune of 64-27 on Saturday. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 28 points or more this season.

Lapwai was led to victory by Madden Bisbee and Amasone George. Bisbee went 12 for 20 on her way to 29 points and eight rebounds, while George went 7 of 13 en route to 20 points in addition to five boards and three steals. That's the most boards George has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Junee Picard, who posted eight points.

Lapwai's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.2 points per game. As for Potlatch, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Lapwai wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 43-42 defeat against Kamiah on the 21st. Potlatch has also already played their next match (against Troy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
