After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Greater Miami Academy, Redland Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They managed a 77-71 win over the Colonial Christian Patriots. The FALCONS's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Redland Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Prince Howell, Jr, who posted 19 points. Kaleb Palmer was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Yunior Caraballo, who went 9 of 19 en route to 20 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexander Ovalle, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards.

With the victory, Redland Christian Academy broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9. As for Colonial Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Redland Christian Academy will be playing at home against Somerset College Prepartory Academy South at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Colonial Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 79-50 defeat against Mater Bay Academy on the 21st.
