Football Recap: Alex Gammage and Jahmani Chin-Suer Pace Piper Defense

After soaring to 31 points the game before, Piper was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a 25-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plantation Colonels. The Bengals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Colonels apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Although Piper took the loss, they still got scores from Isaiah Monestime and Jahnard Young.

Piper didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Alex Gammage and Jahmani Chin-Suer.

Zachariah Ray continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Plantation, rushing for 75 yards and one touchdown.

Piper's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Plantation, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Piper will square off against Blanche Ely at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Plantation, they will take on South Broward at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
